Getting a new card is only half the job in the Spooky Program. Clay Buchholz must also be added to the right collection before his objective pays out, so don't leave that step unfinished. Two Modes, Two Sets of Rewards

Spooky Conquest and Spooky Mini Seasons work together, but they don't track the same thing. Finish the Conquest map requirements to earn 99 OVR Willie Mays and complete an objective worth 20 program points. In Mini Seasons, the Buchholz goal calls for 1,313 PXP under the mode's stated requirements. Earn his 99 OVR Spooky card, return to the program, and collect the eligible item for another 20 points. Program points and player XP aren't interchangeable, so keep an eye on both screens. The event began on October 26, 2026, but its exact end time wasn't established. Look for a deadline in the game before settling in for a long session.

What Your First 40 Points Bring

Those two objectives can take you to 40 points, where the early reward path includes two more 99 OVR players. At 10 points there's a Deluxe pack, followed by the Mummy Icon at 15. J.R. Richard arrives at 20 points with 4,000 XP. The Werewolf Icon sits at 25, another Deluxe pack at 30, and an MLB Draft Deluxe Pack at 35. Reach 40 and Mark McGwire joins the rewards alongside another 4,000 XP. Later milestones include stadium sounds, packs and a Halloween Bat Skin. The initial details didn't identify the rewards at 60, 80 and 100 points, so have a look at the current path rather than guessing.

Make Your Games Count

Before taking a turn in Conquest, read every map goal. One win won't necessarily clear the objective, and difficult strongholds are easier to approach after you've built up your position. Once Mays is yours, compare his hitting and fielding with the outfielders you already use. In Mini Seasons, give eligible hitters regular opportunities and use eligible pitchers when you can. There's no need to rush every at bat. Play your normal game, then inspect the PXP total afterward. Gary Sheffield, Brian Roberts and Carlos Santana also have rewards in the mode, though each has separate requirements.

When Progress Doesn't Show

Start with the objective screen. Make sure every Conquest goal is complete, then verify that your Mini Seasons PXP counts toward the Buchholz task. For the collection, select the specified Spooky card, not another version of the same player, and read the confirmation before proceeding. If a reward still isn't visible, reopen the path and look for a claim prompt or inspect your packs and inventory. Equipment behaving oddly is a separate issue: Game Update 20 addressed some equipment problems, so confirm your game is current.
