Rainbow Anubis Guide for Grow a Garden 2 | U4GM

Harvest Moon Part 3 is shaping up to add more than another short event quest. The Harvest Moon Machine is still a mystery, but the Anubis pet method is already giving players something practical to work on. If you've got spare carrots, mutation-friendly pets, and enough room in the garden, you can build a steady experience loop instead of relying on ordinary pet growth. It's worth keeping useful Grow a Garden 2 Items ready, especially if the update changes how the machine works.

Build a Strong Mutation Stockpile

Start with roughly 20 carrot seeds planted close together. Use Phoenix, Kappa, or Wolf to begin the first mutation round, then bring in seven Mimic Octopus pets with 15-second cooldowns. Give the carrots time to develop before changing the setup. After that, switch to one Tiger, one T-Rex, and six Mimic Octopus pets. Five to ten minutes is usually enough to create a useful batch, though your results will depend on the pets you own and how quickly they trigger their abilities.

Move the Mutations to One Target

Plant one extra carrot and mark it as your preferred target. Equip a Spinosaurus with seven 15-second Mimic Octopus pets, then let the transfer process run. Once the mutations have moved across, collect the original carrots. You should be left with one carrot carrying a much larger stack of effects. Keep that carrot separate. It's the piece that lets the next round begin faster, and it can save you from rebuilding the whole setup every time you want to level another pet.

Keep One Carrot for the Next Round

Plant another 20 to 25 carrots and mark those new crops so they're easy to identify. Leave the high-mutation carrot unmarked, then use one T-Rex and seven Mimic Octopus pets to spread its effects. Once the new batch is ready, collect it, but don't use every crop at once. Players often rush this part and lose their best starting resource. Keeping one strong carrot aside, along with useful GAG 2 Items, makes the routine much less annoying.

Run the Anubis Experience Loop

Place the saved carrot where Anubis can reach it, then equip a Rainbow-hatched Anubis, six 15-second Mimic Octopus pets, and the pet you want to improve. When Anubis destroys the mutated carrot, its effects are turned into age gains for the selected pet. The method works best when you repeat the cycle rather than trying to finish everything in one session. Ember Griffin may help in other setups, but it needs the Transcendent stage, so Anubis is usually the simpler route for players preparing before Harvest Moon Part 3 arrives.
